Somos Group is partnering with Western University of Health Sciences to lead the master planning efforts for the renovation, expansion and resiliency planning of their anchor campus located in Pomona, California. This work is central in advancing the University’s long-term Campus Master Plan. 


Our work includes designing and implementing a comprehensive community and stakeholder engagement strategy that ensures the voices of local residents, city leaders, and regional partners are meaningfully included in the planning process. We are also providing land use planning, environmental and legal advice in connection with its real estate management and development.


Through this partnership, we are assisting WesternU align its physical growth with the evolving educational, healthcare, and economic needs of Pomona and the broader region, strengthening the University’s role as a regional anchor institution.
