Somos Group developed with the Department of Beaches and Harbors and the LA County Board of Supervisors a robust community engagement platform for a substantive refocusing of land use within Marina del Rey. 

This work included comprehensive community engagement assessing urgent needs and community priorities, current and future development opportunities, and detailed implementation action items with various regulatory agencies. The final report for Marina del Rey for All was submitted to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in November 2023 and will be a catalyst for implementation of land use policies advancing equity, consistent with Los Angeles County’s Anti Racism and Diversity Initiative (ARDI) goals.
